Froshmore Academic Team

As the academic season reaches its zenith, Inola's young scholars in grades 9 and 10 are gearing up for the culmination of their efforts at the Froshmore Academic Bowl Championships. A prestigious event that pits the brightest minds from across the state against each other, this championship promises to be a thrilling showcase of intellectual prowess and scholarly achievement.

Since November, teams from participating schools have been engaged in a rigorous series of tournaments, each focusing on a specific subject area—mathematics, social studies, science, and humanities & fine arts. These tournaments, held at various host sites, have provided students with invaluable opportunities to test their knowledge, hone their skills, and compete against their peers in a spirit of friendly rivalry.

The journey to the Froshmore Academic Bowl Championships has been marked by dedication, perseverance, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Under the guidance of their coach, Carol Holland, they have immersed themselves in a diverse array of subjects, mastering complex concepts and delving deep into the nuances of each discipline.

The upcoming championships on March 2, 2024, represent the culmination of months of hard work and preparation. To qualify for the championship tournament, teams must either emerge victorious in one of the four area of concentration tournaments or demonstrate exceptional consistency by securing the most second-place finishes among their peers.
