Inola High School senior Caden Thompson etched his name into the program’s history on Friday night, January 30, becoming the newest member of the elite 1,000-point club during the Longhorns’ matchup against the Jay Bulldogs.
The milestone came on a memorable evening for Inola basketball, as both the Longhorns’ boys and girls teams earned victories over Jay. The night carried added significance with the recognition of the 2026 Inola High School Hall of Fame inductees, along with the celebration of Homecoming, creating an electric atmosphere inside the gym.
Thompson’s achievement reflects years of dedication, consistency, and leadership on the court, marking a major individual accomplishment within a team-centered night of success.
