The Inola Speech and Debate team has been named the 2026 OSSAA 4A Regional Runner-Up, continuing a strong tradition of excellence in competition.
Under the direction of Coach Deleea Meeker, 26 students competed across 16 events at the regional tournament. Of those competitors, 10 students qualified for the state tournament in 11 events, while an additional five students earned recognition as state alternates.
Students qualifying for the state tournament are Sadie Ferguson, Lily Johnson, Tyler Yoder, Gavin Marlin, Piper Wright, Aaron Muhle, Yeshua Rachele, Cole Cook, Jacob Spiri, and Oscar Humphrey.
State alternates include Chloe Russell, James Spiri, Patrick Morrow, Mouachi Vue, and Travis Turner.
The team’s outstanding performance highlights the dedication, preparation, and talent of these students as they represent Inola with pride.
