Led by directors Ms. Maggie Brown and Mr. Michael Wetherell, Inola High School’s FFA members have been busy representing their school at Career Development Event (CDE) contests across the region in recent weeks. Competing in multiple divisions, students earned strong finishes both as teams and individuals.

At the Roland CDE, the Poultry Judging team placed 4th overall.

During the Will Rogers CDE, the Ag Communications team earned a 7th place finish, while Scotty Walton placed 6th overall individually in Electricity.

In State Horse Judging competition, the senior team finished 7th overall, with Tate Unrau placing 13th individually.

The Coweta Last Chance CDE proved especially successful for Inola. The Ag Sales team captured 1st place overall, led by Shane Chairez, who was named high individual. Chism Day earned 2nd high individual honors, and Wyatt Petty placed 3rd overall. Additional team results included a 6th place finish in Electricity, 5th place in Floriculture, 4th place in Poultry Judging, and 5th place in Veterinary Science. Scotty Walton also placed 7th individually in Electricity at the event.

At the Keys CDE, the Electricity team placed 5th overall, with Scotty Walton earning 3rd high individual honors.

Inola FFA continues to demonstrate dedication, skill, and competitive excellence as students prepare for upcoming contests and events.
