The Inola High School Forensic Science classes had an incredible experience visiting the Tulsa Police Department and touring the Tulsa Police Academy on Wednesday, May 6. Led by Mrs. Dana Fideline, IHS Forensic Science teacher, the group was warmly welcomed and guided by Detective Lacy Lansdown, who helped bring the academy to life through an engaging tour of the training facilities, helicopter unit, and K-9 unit.
Students got an up-close look at the many career paths within law enforcement and were excited to see how classroom learning connects to real-world opportunities. From the energy of the academy to the incredible work of the specialized units, the experience was both eye-opening and inspiring.
Inola High School is truly grateful to the Tulsa Police Department, Detective Lansdown, and the other officers for taking the time to invest in our students, share their expertise, and create such a memorable and meaningful learning opportunity.
