Inola High School track athletes wrapped up an impressive showing at the OSSAA State Track Meet in Catoosa, Oklahoma, competing on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9.
Several Longhorn athletes earned top finishes and broke school records during the two-day event.
Larkin Sears earned a 4th place finish in the high jump competition, while Caleb Sims had a standout performance in the throwing events, placing 4th in Shot Put and 5th in Discus.
The girls 4x800-meter relay team of Brynlee Pratt, Bella Riggs, Zoey Hadley, and Sophie Helling placed 7th overall while setting a new school record with a time of 10:00.28.
Sophie Helling also delivered a record-breaking individual performance in the 800-meter run, placing 5th and breaking her own school record with a time of 2:18.43.
The Longhorns closed out the season with multiple medal finishes, school records, and strong performances on the state stage.
