Inola, Okla-On September 27, 2026 Inola FFA recently hosted their first OCC contest on their own. This contest was a great way for students to help out or even showcase some public speaking skills. This contest had 25 teams in attendance, and 60 individual kids competing in the Greenhand test. Hosting this contest was a new experience for the Inola FFA chapter and provided chapter officers and other members to take on different leadership opportunities.
Inola FFA members helped organize this event and worked different jobs for the whole event to come together. This event also allowed Inola FFA to have two junior OCC teams to compete and other chapters to compete. OCC is a contest to help students with public speaking, but is also showing them the proper way to start and close an official meeting.
This event's success marks an exciting step for the Inola FFA, the experience that was gained from this members hope that they can make it a yearly contest.
