The Inola Longhorns gave it everything they had at the Volleyball Regional Tournament on Wednesday, October 7, hosted by Oologah High School.

Inola opened the day with a hard-fought victory over the Catoosa Indians, earning the opportunity to compete against the Oologah Mustangs. The Longhorns battled with everything they had, but ultimately suffered a heartbreaking loss to Oologah.

While the final result wasn’t what the Longhorns wanted, there is so much to be proud of in the way this team competed. They showed what it means to fight, stay mentally tough, and never give up—even when the moment gets difficult.

They played with heart. They played with determination. Most importantly, they played for one another.

Although the day may have ended in disappointment, the character this team displayed is something that cannot be measured by a scoreboard. The Inola Longhorns showed their toughness, their resilience, and their pride in wearing the Longhorn jersey.

We are incredibly proud of our Longhorns. You gave it everything you had, and that is something no loss can take away.

Once a Longhorn, always a Longhorn.
