Senior Year End Information – 2021

As your final year draws to a close, there are several things happening that require your attention & your attendance.  Foremost, you need to fulfill all of the state/school graduation requirements that will enable you to obtain a HS Diploma.  For everything that is going to happen over the next few weeks, arrangements need to be made now to ensure yourself of being a part of the total graduation experience.  These activities are for YOU and every effort needs to be made on your part to be there.

*Please note that you must be in good standing both academically and discipline wise to participate.  Issues arising from any of these upcoming events or during the final days of school will jeopardize your chances of walking at graduation.

Thursday, April 22 – Sr. Trip @ Silver Dollar City.  Cost of the trip is $90.  We will leave parking lot @ 6:00 A.M. and return before midnight.  You will need extra money for the day, limit what you bring and drug dog will search belongings before we go.

Sunday, April 25 – Senior Tea @ Round-Up Club / 12:30 P.M.

Sunday, May 2 – Baccalaureate @ First Baptist Church 5:00 p.m. – This is pending and the decision will be up to the church.  If we are able, you should be there by 4:00 p.m. for preparation, pictures, etc.  You need to have your cap & gown.

Tuesday, May 4 – Sr. Assembly @ 9:00 a.m. followed by picnic in the afternoon.

Thursday, May 6 – Sr. Checkout Day – Forms should be taken around to each class and everything related to that particular hour (books, uniforms, etc.) needs to be addressed at that time.  You must have all signatures, plus clearance through the Library and Breakfast/Lunch Accounts before hand delivering to the building Principal by the end of the day.  No Form.  No Walk.

Friday May 7 – Practice in the morning.  Leave school on buses @ 8:30 A.M.  Graduation @ UMAC 7:00 P.M. – Seniors should begin arriving by 5:45 p.m.  This is a formal exercise so you should dress and act accordingly.  Nothing written/taped on caps.  No shorts or flip-flops.  Gentlemen should wear a collared shirt, tie if possible.  Ladies can opt for a dress or slacks.
