The Inola Middle School Conference Track Meet was held Monday, April 27, at Jay High School, where the 7th grade girls team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 3rd overall.
The relay team of Bella Kelly, Ellie Sanders, Piper Bryant, and Kenna Frye led the way, capturing first place in both the 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relays.
Individually, the Lady Longhorns also turned in strong performances:
Bella Kelly placed 3rd in the long jump
Ellie Sanders earned 3rd in the 100-meter dash
Piper Bryant claimed 1st place in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash
Kenna Frye finished 2nd in the 200-meter dash
Mae Ashley placed 3rd in both shot put and discus
Piper Bryant also set a new school record in the 100-meter dash this season with a time of 13.46 seconds.
Additionally, the team holds the school record in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:39.42.
