Subject: Free Flu Vaccines at Inola Schools – November 17th (Consent Form Required)
Dear Inola Families,
As we head into the winter months, keeping our students healthy, safe, and in the classroom is our top priority. To help protect our school community from the flu this season, we are partnering with the Oklahoma Caring Van Program to provide free flu vaccinations for our students.
The Caring Van will be visiting our school sites on Tuesday, November 17th at the following times:
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Inola Middle School & Inola High School
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Inola Elementary School
How Your Child Can Participate
These seasonal immunizations are provided at no cost to families. However, no child can receive a vaccine without explicit parental consent.
If you would like your child to get their flu shot during this visit, please follow these steps:
Fill out the consent form that was sent home with your student (extra copies are available directly in each school office).
Sign the form and have your student return it directly to the school office as soon as possible.
Taking advantage of this convenient, on-site service is a quick and easy way to give your child an extra layer of defense against seasonal illness. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our Inola Longhorns healthy and thriving this school year!
Warm regards,
Lexie Beyer RN
