New Student Enrollment

Much of the enrollment process can be completed online. Instructions for accessing our Student Records Portal can be found here

Only legal guardians (parent(s) or court-appointed legal guardian) may enroll a student. Legal guardians must bring in a valid driver's license, valid state-issued picture ID, or passport.

  • Enrollment cannot be accepted until all required forms are complete and the required documents are received.

    • Instructions for accessing the required forms are available at the bottom of the page.

PLEASE NOTE: The office does not obtain your required documents for you. We only request a student's cumulative file from the previous school to be sent after a student is enrolled; therefore, you must bring in your student's required documents, such as birth certificate and immunization record (or a completed and signed exemption form) at the time of enrollment.

RESIDENT STUDENTS

The district map for Inola Public Schools is provided here. Students who live in this area are able to attend Inola without completing a transfer application. To check your address, click on the magnifying glass, which will allow you to enter your address to see if it is within the boundary. All students new to the district must provide proof of residence (usually a utility bill) showing they reside in the district.

If you reside outside of the district, please review the information to the right for Transfer Students to begin the application process.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

The application for student transfers may be found here and our current transfer capacity is available here. The application form must be fully completed and submitted with all required documents before it will be considered for transfer. The required documents need to be obtained from your child's current school.

Required Documents:

  • Transfer Application Form

  • Attendance Record

  • Behavior Record

  • Report card for grades PK-8 and transcript for grades 9-12

  • Special Education (IEP) (if applicable)

  • English Learner WIDA-ACCESS scores (if applicable)

Location for enrollment depends on the grade of your child(ren).

Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 4

Students in Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade enroll at Inola Elementary School (450 B Street NW). The office is open 6:30am - 4:00pm Tuesday through Friday during the school year.

Appointments are not required but you can contact the elmejmarlin@inola.k12.ok.us to determine the best time to visit for enrollment.

Grade 5 - Grade 12

The IPS Secondary Enrollment Center is housed in the Media Center on the Middle School/High School campus (801 East Commercial) and is open 10am - 3pm Tuesday - Friday during the school year.

We want to provide you with individualized service so we ask that you make an appointment to enroll here or by email at enrollment@inola.k12.ok.us. Please include current grade(s) for the student(s) and the address where the student(s) will reside. Although an appointment is recommended, drop-ins are also welcome.

If you have children in multiple grades, you have the option of completing the enrollment for all of your children at one location. Contact either office for more information about this option.
