Inola Boys Soccer Players Receive All-District Honors in Historic Season

The Inola High School boys soccer team made history this season by clinching their first-ever playoff berth, a milestone achievement that was further highlighted as several players earned prestigious All-District honors.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Lee Elliott, now in his second year, the team showed progress and determination throughout the season. Coach Elliott’s guidance and commitment to building a competitive program have paid off, with the team earning a spot in the postseason for the first time since the program’s inception.

“This season was a huge step forward for our program,” said Coach Elliott. “These boys worked hard every day, and their recognition at the district level is well deserved. I couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve accomplished together.”

The following Inola players were named to the All-District team:

  • Eddie Yang

  • Jeremiah Frye (Honorable Mention)

  • Ayden Richards (Honorable Mention)

  • Angel Mata (Honorable Mention)

As the Longhorns look ahead to next season, expectations are higher than ever. With a growing foundation and postseason experience now under their belts, the future looks bright for Inola Boys Soccer.
