Spirit Stick

Inola High School is proud to announce that our students have been awarded the Channel 6 Spirit Stick this week!

Be sure to tune in to News On 6 tomorrow, Friday, September 5, at 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM, or 10:00 PM to see the celebration and Inola’s school spirit on full display.

This Friday marks Week 1 of the 2025 high school football season, and the Longhorns are gearing up for their season opener at home against Adair. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at Inola High School—and this will be a night to remember.

The game will also feature the grand unveiling of Inola’s newly renovated football stadium and high-tech scoreboard. Inola was the first-ever winner of T-Mobile’s Friday Night Lights national competition, earning more than $2 million in prizes. This included a state-of-the-art weight room designed by GronkFitness, new turf for the field, a cutting-edge scoreboard, a $100,000 grant to the school, and much more.

Friday evening’s festivities kick off at 5:00 PM with a massive tailgate party in the high school parking lot. The T-Mobile FunZone will be packed with excitement—free food, fun games, awesome prizes, and live music from DJ Aaron Smalls. Admission, food, and activities are completely free for everyone.

To top it all off, the evening will conclude with an epic drone show lighting up the sky following the game.

Come out and celebrate with us—let’s pack the stands, cheer on the Longhorns, and make this a historic night for Inola!
