Inola High School hosted a successful blood drive on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in partnership with the American Red Cross. The original goal was to collect 31 units of blood, but thanks to the generosity of the community, the event exceeded expectations with 38 units collected.
A total of 37 donors registered, with 13 first-time donors stepping up to make a difference. While 6 donors were deferred, the drive also included 9 Power Red donations, which provide a greater impact for patients in need.
Following the event, the American Red Cross personally contacted the school to extend their congratulations on the outstanding turnout. In recognition of the achievement, the Red Cross announced plans to return and host a special appreciation lunch for donors.
The success of this blood drive highlights the strong community spirit in Inola and the commitment of students, staff, and local residents to supporting life-saving causes.
