The Inola Speech and Debate Team began the 2025–2026 competition season with an outstanding performance at the Riverfield Country Day School Annual Tournament on Saturday, November 1.
A total of 29 Inola students competed, earning 40 individual OSSAA Regional Qualifications—a remarkable achievement so early in the season. In addition to these individual successes, the team also brought home the 1st Place 4A Sweepstakes Trophy, marking an exceptional start to what promises to be an exciting year.
“This is a fantastic start to the season and just a glimpse of the amazing things these students are going to accomplish,” said Deleea Meeker, Inola Speech and Debate Coach.
The Inola Speech and Debate Team continues to build on its tradition of excellence, demonstrating hard work, talent, and teamwork at every competition.
