Inola Elementary third grade students are showcasing their creativity at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore. Their dioramas are currently on display as part of the annual county-wide 3rd Grade Diorama Contest.
For the project, students were challenged to create a diorama depicting Oklahoma’s own Will Rogers in a creative and original way. Awards will be given to first-, second-, and third-place winners, who will receive art sets. The first-place winner will also earn a deluxe art set and a signed copy of Buckaroo Bart’s children’s book.
Inola Elementary has 14 student dioramas on display now through March 6, and community members are encouraged to visit the museum and vote for their favorites. Winners are determined by the total number of votes received. Inola Elementary hopes to be well represented at the awards assembly on March 20.
Mrs. Conner’s class participants include Theodore Voss, Kiera Sanders, Margot Meeker, Teagan King, Maddie Hall, Easton Long, Noah Helling, Weston Decker, Benton Cummins, Kelsey Horishnyk, Jamison Applegate, and Kallie Tennyson (not pictured: Kara Yorman).
The public’s support and votes are greatly appreciated.
