More than half of the Inola High School senior class traveled to Rogers State University in Claremore to attend the university’s annual College Fair on Tuesday, August 25..
The event provided students with an excellent opportunity to explore their options after graduation. More than 40 colleges, trade schools, and branches of the military from Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas were represented at the fair.
Students visited with representatives, asked questions, and learned more about scholarship opportunities, degree programs, career pathways, and skilled trades. The experience allowed students to begin making connections and exploring possibilities as they prepare for life after high school.
“We are excited to provide our seniors with opportunities like this that help them see the many possibilities available after graduation,” said Inola High School counselor Deleea Meeker. “Whether students choose college, a trade, the military, or another career pathway, events like this help them make informed decisions about their futures.”
