The Inola High School and Middle School Choirs recently performed at Honor Choir on Tuesday evening in downtown Tulsa, showcasing the talent and dedication of Inola's student musicians.
Senior Lilli Moore received special recognition for completing her third year as a member of the Honor Choir. In addition to this accomplishment, Lilli auditioned for the National Honor Choir in Minneapolis, Minnesota, over spring break earlier this year.
Inola students are also celebrating success in the All-State audition process. Seven students advanced to Round 2 of All-State auditions:
Christian Siqueiros – 7th Grade
Paige Brewer – 8th Grade
John Moon – 9th Grade
Ayden Walker – 10th Grade
Jacob Binkley – 10th Grade
Sam Martin – 10th Grade
Ethan Rigell – 11th Grade
Students selected for All-State will have the opportunity to perform at the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association (OKCDA) and Oklahoma Music Educators Association (OKMEA) state conventions in January.
Following the completion of this week's NCDA Concert, the choirs are already looking ahead to their next exciting performance. Students are preparing for Missa de Luminae, an elegant candlelit dessert and concert scheduled for December 18, on the Inola High School campus.
Congratulations to our choir students and directors on their continued hard work and accomplishments! We are proud of the talent, dedication, and musical excellence our Longhorns continue to demonstrate.
